Our goal is connect clients with the best counselor fit. We also provide our counselor partners various networking and continuing education opportunities.

Our Vetting Process
We only included counselors in our directory whom we personally know and would confidently utilize ourselves. This is how we determine if you might be a good fit for our team.
We do ask our counselors in our network to pay a $20 a month admin fee to help cover our ministry expenses.
Step 1: Potential counselors review and attest to the Statement of Faith.
Research has demonstrated that a counselor that brings a spiritual background to their practice is more effective in their work. Please read our statement of faith.
Step 2: Potential Counselors fill our our intake form.
If a counselor can agree with our statement of faith, potential counselors can complete our initial intake form.
Step 3: Schedule an interview with our executive director.
Our executive director will contact potential counselors and set up a viritual or inperson meeting to learn about them (education, faith, etc.) and their practice (specialties, insurances, etc.)
Step 4: Potential counselors submit required documentation.
If we think the counselor is a good fit with Renewed Heart, we will ask them to submit one clergy reference, three peer references, state license verification, background check for unlicensed professionals, receipt of liability insurance certificate, and set up their admin fee.
Step 5: Welcome to the team!
Once you have submitted all the required information, we welcome you to Renewed Heart’s network of counselors on our social media channels. We are now able to connect you with potential clients.
Our Referral Process:
Renewed Heart’s goal is to connect those seeking counseling with a great Christian counselor. This is how we do it.
Step 1: Our staff connect with potential clients
Those seeking counseling fill out our counselor referrral form. Renewed Heart team members contact them and determine what their counseling needs, schedule availability, and insurance / cash pay budget.
Step 2: Renewed Heart reaches out to potential network counselors.
Our staff determine which vetted counselors are the best fit for this client’s situation and check in with these practitioners to see if their current availability matches the clients needs.
Step 3: Email Introduction
After we find a potential fit, we will do a joint email introduction with the client and counselor that highlight any pertinent information.
Step 4: You arrange your first session
The counselor takes the lead after the introduction. You set up the first session and direct them through your onboarding process.
